I took her to the vet.
He is a new vet as the one I used to see now only works part time and is
currently on holidays. So this new vet Damien checked the bunny all over
and checked the fur. He can't find anything wrong with her. He checked for
mites worms and everything else he could think of. . The only thing he came
to the conclusion is that tasha was in fact being cleaned by the other
rabbits quiet often which would help with the hair loss. (or possibly
stressed at lossing mum and brothers/sisters when the others from her little
sold but she didn't) That or she was born bald and is going to stay that
way. He did rule out infections or diseases which I guess is the important
one!
He also said being tasha is small she was probley the last to get the food
(the bigger ones in the cage at pet shop probley bullied her out) hence why
she is small for her age and probley not getting the best of the food. But
seeing as she is eating and drinking as normal it now wouldn't be a concern.
Damian couldn't really offer any advice but said if she is still around in
3-4 weeks time to take her back and she can get vaccinated. He did mention
that her liver might shut down but didn't offer any insight as to why he
thought that or what I could do to help it.
I feel he felt sorry for her and didn't charge me for the visit. I guess I
am lucky for the time being... free rabbit and free check up.
Hoping she grows into something more beautiful then what she is now ! And is
healthy
