Hi Everyone! Are you all bloated from too much weekend food?? We had two
dinners, but I didn't over eat.
I just wondered what everyone was doing today? Do you all have the day off?
Are you going boxing day shopping?

I have the week off and yes, I'm going shopping, but for stuff I need with
my Christmas money my mom sent me: winter boots, a watch, new back pack,
house slippers.
I did buy some Christmas cards online for next year...LOL NWF had some nice
bunny ones for half price!

Today is also the Christmas bird count up here, so I'm expecting some
birdwatchers to drop by my front yard soon.

I hope you all have a great day!

Oh, I'll also be using my fabulous new toaster that Ray bought me; he was
tired of smelling burnt english muffins and listening to me yell at our old
toaster

What did all of you get for Christmas?? I'd love to hear.

My one brother sent me the sweetest, pink, fleece jacket with snow men on
it - the other one sent me a nice Christmas music CD. My parents sent some
money and my dad got me a sweater.
Ray liked his "almost golf balls" for practicing, a Sheryl Crow CD and world
globe that I bought him.

Ok, I'd better get dressed
Cocoa has been getting some Christmas treats, then giving me one later that
I have to wash off...ewwwwwww.
Bye for now!

Hey, everyone. Good old day-after-Christmas hellos.

I'm having a good holiday so far. Akiko and I flew from Canada to visit
my exiled family (they're serving in the states. Why do we send our
Navy to oceanless places?) and everything went smoothly, for the first
time ever. I didn't have to sleep on any airport floors this year. I'm
travelling with Aki's lucky rabbit feet from now on. The family seems
to have fallen in love with him, as I'm the first to have a pet. He's
actively eating the tree from the base up.

We had a nice, quiet holiday, with some fun gifts and some nice
company. I'm glad to see my siblings again, and to finally meet my
brother's girlfriend (she's my age. My brother attracts older women...)
and help him shop for her.

Giftewise, this was alovely year. I got some books on working in CG, a
few new sketchbooks and some prismacolours in my stocking. The usual
embarassing undergarments from Santa Clause (santa bay-bee, slip the
sable under the tree...) and practical clothing. A plethora of scarves
and cute mittens, some jewlery and makeup...And in the fun department,
a portable hardrive for my powerbook, an adorable little video camera
(for bootlegging videos...*koffkoff*) a few volumes of manga and the
first volume of .Hack//SIGN, which is, without arguement, the best
televison series ever conceived.

It was a really nice, relaxing day. We just hung around reading all of
our new books and eating candy, playing choir music and laughing at
Aki's wrapping paper antics. it's so nice to take a break from all the
running around I do. I hope everyone else is relaxed and happy!

Ohhhhh my brother gave me his old (like one year old) 32 inch, flat
screen TV and a DVD player.
I swore I would never have a TV, but, now I do. The bunnies are
petrified. I turned it on this morning and Babe was on... they were
scared of the sheep in the movie. LOL
So, after basically 10 years of being TV-less I now have 2. One small
one I got so I could watch Dr Who in the summer, and now this giant
monster TV. Poor bunnies. They are not impressed.

Ha ha! So show them bunny programmes and films!

My 2 love watching the Duracell advert, that advert where bunnies and
squirrels and hedgehogs etc. come in through the window and clean the
house up, and the Honda "Hate something, change something" advert with all
those white bunnies!

Though I did not get anything for Christmas this year (yet, anyway),
this was very good Christmas in a lot of ways. Because I was laid up
and all, it seemed to take away all the pressure of all the hustle and
bustle that we all go through this time of year....(i.e party commitments,
etc....) The bunnies really missed me this last go around. More than
I had ever noticed before. (or was it the treats and veggies). So, it
was great just spending quality time with them and thinking of new &
creative ways to prepare the same old bowl of cereal in the morning. I
did eat lamb for dinner two nights in a row and it turned out great! I
always like eating lamb on the high holy days. The big highlight was
opening all the APR cards on Christmas morning. The feeling of
connecting with you all through the Bunny Christmas Card Medium
was very warming touch. Now, I face the task, however, of cleaning
my place up. Before I went to the hospital, I left stuff everywhere. Left
over stuff from my cards for the exchange, left over wrapping paper for
the gifts I bought for friends and family (which still need to be passed
out) ,etc,,,,,
I actually have to move stuff around before I can move stuff around, if you
know I mean, to clean the place up. I got all my friends and family a Slow
Cooking Indoor Barbeque Pit made by Crock-Pot so, that is 15 boxes of
those things blocking part of the front door and kitchen. 18 inches by 20
inches
by 18 inches (times 15) adds up pretty quick! LOL. And, boxes and boxes of
Tampa Bay Lightning Jackets for the people at work. (and, there are holes in
one
of those). I am thinking of waiting it out now and just pass everything out,
at one
time, at my annual SuperBowl party on February 5th, 2006. Last year, Sports
Illustrated rated my party as the number 22nd place in the country (US) to
be
for a SuperBowl party. We will try and get those ratings up this year but,
it so
hard for us Southerners to compete against cities like New York, Chicago and
LA and the way they get their ratings fixed. I know a few of you plan on
coming
down for this so, I blocked off a section just for anymore bunny people.
And,
Rhonda (& Dave), I hope to see you there, too! Remember, I am having the
party at the place where we had lunch with Carrie when she was down in
August! Yep, and, we got the whole place to ourselves! There will be more
food and drinks that you have ever seen and that is a promise! Oysters,
Lobster,
Crab Legs, Steaks, Clams, Ham, just to name a few anything and *everything*
to drink.
..................... (I am getting psyched)
