Owned by five ferts in the past (down to the last two of the initial herd),
looking to add another couple in a couple of days. I had a very
ferret-friendly vet when I lived in Richmond, but now I’m a Gloucester
resident, and it’d be nice to find a vet in that area (or close to it).
Anyone from that area (or near it) know of any ferret-friendly vets in that
I’d like to find one in Gloucester, but I could make the trip to Newport
News if needed (Hampton, and I’d be just as well-off going back up to
Richmond). Anyone have any suggestions?
(needless to say, in a newsgroup, the eddress won’t be real)

*sigh* That’s what I was afraid of. Gloucester is about an hour north of
Tidewater, and an hour south of Richmond, over to the East (I’m from
Arkansas; my _wife_, the Virginia native, says that it’s Eastern Shore. I
have to cross the river to get to work and get home; that’s all I know).

Check with the ferret shelter in the VA Beach area,
http://www.ferrethaven.org/ Hopefully she can guide you to a good vet
in the area.

There are some vets in NN that have been recommended to me – Agape is one,
Colony animal hospital, Todds lane…I use a vet in virginia Beach, Petcare
Veterinary Hospital…they are awesome!
Let me know if I can be of assistance..I am in Virginia Beach, VA…
