File Upload

I've finally gotten a File Upload script to work, but I'm not at all
convinced that it's secure. Can anyone recommend a script that will (safely
& securely) upload JPG images from a password-protected Admin page, and
rename the images on upload to a specific format (i.e.
LastnameFirstinitial#.jpg)?
