Besides Bush Six Other U.S. Presidents Have Been Economic "SupplySiders"--Karrt Kudlow
And in each of these administrations the
U.S. economy thrived and prosperity was enjoyed by the nation.
In a National Review article, free-market economist
Larry Kudlow writes that
the U.S. now is almost ready to begin reaping the benefits of President
Bush's tax cuts. However, due to strong productivity growth,
improvements in the employment picture will be delayed somewhat. Kudlow
predicts that by the first quarter or 2004 employment will begin to pick
up.
Kudlow's essay, in which he names America's supply side presidents,
can be read at:

I have one correction to make to Kudlow's essay. He mentions that
Bill Clinton was a supply sider during his second term. But it isn't
that Clinton cut taxes on his own volition. He was pressured into it
by the Republican controlled House of Representatives. And in Clinton's
first term, he raised taxes.
