CIA Chief Admits Iraq Uranium Claim Error

Friday his agency wrongly allowed President Bush (news - web sites) to tell
the American people that Iraq (news - web sites) was seeking nuclear
material from Africa when ****ysts had doubts about the quality of the

Disinformation is the name of the game at the CIA.
Tenet is simply putting forth MORE disinformation.
And *WE THE PEOPLE* are again the target of their
manipulation.

You ask, "Why would Tenet take the heat?".
No matter how it is played, that is, even if Cheney
admitted he knew of the forgery, Tenet would be in
the pot too - he HAD to be a player either way.

Why do I say Cheney and not Bush.
Bush is just a talking dummy.
That does NOT absolve him though.

PM's Iraq claims 'reek of dishonesty'

CLAIMS yesterday that a key intelligence agency withheld from the
government American doubts about Iraq's nuclear aspirations reeked of
dishonesty, former intelligence officer Andrew Wilkie said today.

The Office of National Assessments (ONA) yesterday revealed it knew
American agencies in January had doubts over claims Iraq had sought to
buy uranium from Africa but did not pass the information on to Prime
Minister John Howard.
