Hmmm - NPR today gave a report that indicated that NASA has hired and
trained too many astronauts. Could that simply be the ~rational reaction~ of
the Space Agency to the threat to its existence from Republican
administrations? Seems reasonable to me.

Let's see now; the last shuttle that crashed was upgraded during the
Clinton administration under a Clinton appointed NASA director, so, it
is obvious the democrats were responsible for the crash. They also
arranged to have it crash in Texas to make Bush look bad. Not only
that, but the records show that four of the Astronauts voted
Republican. It's as plain as the nose on your face.
