About the Guerrilla Movement in Post-War Germany

This is from History Today, and describes an
adequate parallel to what is happening in
Iraq today, although the situation was far
more serious in Germany after WWII:

The "Werewolves" never amounted to much, and in fact the
movement lost its' official sanction before it had a chance to get
started. It seems as though Saddam loyalists were waiting in the wings
here to do just what they're doing with the US forces, but I don't
think it will have much of an effect. There have been some good

decided in 2000 that the countrys' oil sales would be for Euros only.
Personally, as a Canadian, knowing that if the US economy tanks, ours'
goes with it, I am very much PRO-Bush/Cheney/USAR in this, and hope
they keep a presence there as long as necessary, although my foremost
reason is simply that I like Americans far more than Europeans and
would rather see the US remain top dog than to see Europe usurp that
position.
