ABOUT THE FILM
This September will mark the two-year anniversary of the tragic terrorist
attacks on the United States. While for many people around the world this
event is now a part of history, many others remain uncertain about the
government's response to, and potential foreknowledge of, the 9/11 crisis.
The film addresses these issues by asking 11 pointed questions to
world-renowned commentators and ****ysts. The 11 unanswered questions focus
on: What the Bush administration knew and when they knew it; What links
there are between the Bush Administration and key players in the terrorist
underworld; What have been the repercussions from the attacks and what
agendas have been advanced in the name of a War on Terror; What do we do
now?
On September 11th 2003, the web-based Guerrilla News Network will host
simultaneous worldwide screenings of the groundbreaking do***entary,
"Aftermath: Unanswered Questions from 9/11". In Canada, screenings will be
held in Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and St. John's. This event will be
followed by an interactive panel discussion wherein audience members will be
invited to address issues raised in the film with local experts in four key
areas: The Media, Local and Global Politics, Law & Civil Liberties, and Oil
& the Environment. The purpose of this discussion is to provide a Canadian
context for the issues raised in the film.
