Here's the scheme:

1. Elect yourself president, have an "energy crisis", wait for 9/11.
2. Scare country about WMD, send Anthrax letters to Demorats.
3. Blame Iraq, invade Iraq, give Iraq oil contracts to buddies.
4. Meanwhile, plunder billions from U$ taxpayers and give it to your
Texas corporate buddies who pay you a nice percentage.
5. Make all evidence classified, so no one asks questions.
6. Get Diebold to install "black box" voting machines to insure you're
re-elected.

What did you people think a bunch of KNOWN corporate crooks were going to
do if given free reign to do whatever they want without accountability?
They're not concerned about the people of Amerika because they know they
can always ship more in once the current batch of serfs is all worn out
or dead. Why do you think Bu$h is so easy on illegal aliens and
outsourcing jobs? It's not just the low wages.

Corporate crooks, that's the real enemy of all mankind...

Cheney’s financial ties to Halliburton
Deferred compensation counts, report indicates
By Mike Allen
THE WASHINGTON POST

A Congressional Research Service report released yesterday concluded that
federal ethics laws treat Vice President Cheney’s annual deferred
compensation checks and unexercised stock options as continuing financial
interests in the Halliburton Co.

The Houston-based energy conglomerate has been awarded more than $2
billion in contracts for rebuilding Iraq, including one worth $1.22
billion that was awarded on a noncompetitive basis.

The report, from the law division of the congressional research
arm of the Library of Congress, said deferred salary or compensation
received from a private corporation — as well as unexercised stock
options — may represent a continuing financial interest as defined by
federal ethics laws.

The seven-page report, dated Monday, did not name Cheney or
Halliburton, but addressed the general legal question. It was prepared at
the request of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), who said Cheney should
“stop dodging the issue with legalese, and acknowledge his continued
financial ties with Halliburton to the American people.”

No shit.

Ashcroft investigating the Wilson scandal is a real check and balance.
Right.
