: Nearly 9,000 doctors, including two former U.S. surgeons general and a
: former editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, have signed on : to a drive to create a Canadian-style national health insurance : system. So 9,000 doctors are left-wing wack-jobs. What they don't catch on to, and believe me doctors are some of the : most inept financial managers there is, is that when the money is filtered : through DC first, there are many, many more factions vying for it, and the : doctors ain't gonna be anywhere near the top of the handout roster. Good point. I wonder how many of these doctors work at the VA? -- -- William "Dave" Thweatt Robert E. In fact, with the 18 : month, 300,000 member waiting list, I doubt *anyone* has seen a doctor there : yet. : I would suggest anyone wanting Single Payor or government healthcare, take a : turn at the VA. I can go to the VA for anything (10% service-connected disability), yet I choose to pay the copay and go to a private hospital. -- -- William "Dave" Thweatt Robert E.
