Personally,

I don't understand why the senate republicans are doing this (not challenging
the dems) at all on the nominations considering that the fillibuster is
unconstitional

fillibustering a nominee to fill an office?? I don't think I've heard anyone in
past congresses fillbuster a nominee. I'm sure they may have delayed or put
hold on nominations they didn't like as per procedural rules. it supposed to be
and up or down vote after it gets past the committee. it unprecedented what the
senate demos & repubs are doing.

worse they turned the meaning of the fillibuster into a farce, its not what it
used to be.
