While Dubya didn't get as many votes as Mr. Gore, he was certainly
"elected", after some interference from the SCOTUS.
Yeeesh, only a Republican would be thrilled about a basic agreement on
facts.

While I admit I'd never vote for Kerry, I don't see the problem here. Is
this some kind of parody? Maybe Kerry likes his food the way HE likes it,
not the way idiot locals WANT him to like it.

I'd do the same thing. I love Swiss. I'll go to a French restaurant and
put ketchup on my snails. I'm an American. I can do with my private
property (in this case food at a restaurant) what I wish as long as I'm
not hurting anybody. The same goes for Kerry.
