Schwartzenegger Is Fading
After all the fun of having a super-human run for governor the people
of California are now realizing that he is just an actor and has few
qualifications to be a political leader.
Indeed, he seems to have no platform at all except to "clean house" in
Sacramento. No political base and no experience with public affairs
other than to promote his films.
So now the people are realizing that the state's problems are serious,
it takes a serious and experienced person to tackle them, that Gray
Davis wasn't as much to blame as former governor Pete Wilson (now
Arnold's campaign adviser), and that Arnold is a Republican of
somewhat the same ilk as the useless Republican reactionaries in
Congress such as Orin Hatch, Rick Santorum and Tom DeLay.
People of California have good sense. They will prevail over a
puffed-up actor on a grandiose publicity stunt.
