Yes, Hillary is a socialist. : You are incredibly ill-informed. The Nazis were not socialists : by any stretch of the imagination. Please don't tell me that : they were because the word socialist was in the name of their : party. The Nazis were fascists. Fascism lies to the far right : of the political spectrum. Your attempts to redefine said spectrum : are feeble and pitiful, but typical of modern neconservatism. Michelle, my dear, fascism is a form of socialism. It differs from Soviet-style socialism in that the names of companies were allowed to stay the same, even though the government totally controlled them. The reason some people think National Socialism and fascism are "right-wing" ideologies is simple. WWII Soviet and German propaganda perpetuated the myth that there was an ideological difference between the two. The USSR-style socialists perpetuated that myth throughout the rest of the 20th Century in order to use the title "fascist" or "Nazi" as a bludgeon to use on their political enemies, regardless of the fact that they don't fit in any way. -- -- William "Dave" Thweatt Robert E. Here's a simple test that all candidates--both Dem and Repub--should be
asked to respond to. To ALL Candidates, A Challenge: In his Inaugural Address (1961), President John F. Kennedy said this: "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.... And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." Now which of YOU candidates fully agree with what Kennedy said here? -- Steven D.
