Well, not really perhaps, but eposix supports non-blocking i/o,
select() and such, so you can poll for data in your main-loop if you
wanted to implement that.

eposix requires Gobo. It supports the SE version that Gobo supports,
so that's 1.0. 1.1 usually works fine as well.
