SCO Forum 2003. Flash flood warning in Las Vegas.

....and it came to pass that the children of SCO came unto the land of
Las Vegas for their annual pilgrimage and forum to pay homage to the
root of all evil and rub elbows with the money changers. There, they
did meet with the multitudes and offer hollow promises of new releases
and features to come. They didth petitioned the local lords for good
luck and hot tips on which tables were winning. They divideth up the
$3 billion they plan to win from IBM. They engaged in all manner of
technical debauchery, legal chicanery, and general purpose wickedness.
Surely, they didth screw up.

And the Lord looked down from his penthouse suite in the clouds and
saw their wickedness. Surely the children of SCO must be taught a
lesson and clean up their act. When the night came, he called upon
the sky to bring forth the cleansing waters. He cast a shadow of
storm clouds upon the land. Where there was once dry land, now there
was flash flooding. He called down to the assembled multitudes and
thundered forth his message:

"Thou art screwed up. Thou hath taken lawyers, attorneys, and sharks
among thy midst and called them friend. Thou hast taken leave of thy
senses and attacked thy friends and customers. Thou hast sued thy
biggest potential customer. Thou hast taken payment for absolution of
liability from thy customers. Thou hath really screwed up big time."

"Verily, I am both a vengeful and f****ving Lord. Instead of 40 days
and 40 nights, a few hours of heavy rain will suffice to give thee a
clue. Cast thee the lawyers, attorneys, and sharks from among thy
midst. Petition thy Lord for f****veness, and it shall be granted.
Continue with thy wicked ways, and thou shalt be inflicted with the
plagues of falling stock prices, stockholder suits, SEC
investigations, and media scrutiny. Oh yeah, also lots of rain."

And the children of SCO trembled in fear and cried out for
f****veness. But the rains came at about 10PM PDST...

AT 935 PM PDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
JUST A FEW SMALL SHOWERS AND WEAK THUNDERSTORMS REMAINED OVER THE LAS
VEGAS VALLEY. WHILE FLOOD WATERS HAVE RECEDED SOMEWHAT IN NORTHWEST
LAS VEGAS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF HOUR... FLOODING CONTINUES ON SIDE
STREETS OFF OF CRAIG... GOWAN AND ALEXANDER IN NORTHWEST LAS VEGAS.
WATER WAS REPORTED TO STILL BE UP TO 5 FEET DEEP AT SOME OF THE
INTERESECTIONS THERE.
