Default Ingres Tools..

Thanks very much Roy and Paul Mason for the help with exporting tables into
Excel or Access.
Do you know if DB Rules and Procedures can also be exported or printed in a
formatted layout?
The format when using HELP RULE or HELP PROCEDURE in ISQL is very difficult
to read, especially for complicated procedures.
Best Regards,
Phil

Isn't that annoying? And there is no good reason for it either.

Various people including me have written pretty-printers for DBPs but I
regret that I've left the code at a customer site. It is easy enough to
roll your own; I used lex/yacc but others have used awk or perl.

This - http://www.blueoffice.dk/Default.aspx?id=link5b - VB app does
that IIRC. It's VB6 which I don't have very handy so I couldn't test it
easily (VS2005 failed to upgrade it). I think iFormat.bas would be a
place to start looking at the code.
