I have problem with MySQL 3.23.52 on Window 98.

This is what I get :

c:\mysql\bin>mysqladmin shutdown

c:\mysql\bin\mysqla~1.exe: shutdown failed; 'Access denied for user: =
'@localhost' ( Using password =3D No ) '

You need to specifiy a user and password with permission to shutdown the =
server.
