ANN: SImpleORB

SimpleORB is a simple Object Request Broker for both VisualWorks
Smalltalk and java. It uses a simple but powerful serialization library
for data marshalling.
Performance is ca. 500 calls/s with java client and Smalltalk server.
1600 calls/s with java client and java server (all on 1.8 GHz Athlon).

(sorry, squeak was too unstable for this. See my previous posting
regarding Squeak TCP/IP problems).

Note: This is NOT a CORBA server. I guess this is also the reason why
its size is just 80K :-)

I just completed the Wikipedia entry for SimpleORB.
It contains a very simple Helloworld application.
