Berkeley DB requires Tcl version 8.4 or better on Redhat ES 3

Didn't think this was such a big deal until I tried to install tcl ver
8.4.
rpm refused as there are a number of dependecies .. tk, gaim and
several other which share some lib files..

Is there a rpm or package out there that will take care of this.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
