Default FreeBSD 5.1 Alpha floppy boot problem

Hello,

I have tried to install Freebsd 5.1 Alpha on my AlphaStation 200
(166Mhz, 192Mb), SRM console. When the boot is started with

it spits a message 'Boot block not found'. The boot floppy was
prepared first on Linux with

dd bs=4096 if=kern.flp of=/dev/rfd0

and then on W2K (kern.flp was donloaded once again, just to make
sure...) with

fdimage -v -s 1.44M kern.flp a:

but the net result is the same. Interestingly, when FreeBSD 4.8 boot
floppy is created in the same way it works just fine. Your
comments/suggestions are appreciated.
