% gawk version is 3.1.1. After running gawk, all the long directory
% names become short names, ie, names with "~". How can I avoid this % conversion or change dirs back to long names? It sounds like you're running a 16-bit gawk. There are various 32-bit versions floating around the net, so I suggest grabbing one of them. -- Patrick TJ McPhee East York Canada ptjm@interlog.com |
