Default gcc 3.1

When the gcc changelog says that the m68k-apple-aux configuration is
obsoleted in 3.1, does that mean support has been removed from 3.1, or
that 3.1 is the last version that does support it?

At some point, I want to try to build a 3.x version, just for fun. But
first I need to get 2.7 working so I can bootstrap my way forward. And
before that I need to get a new machine for A/UX.

Thanks,
Tim

If you happen to find a mirror site of the once famous jabubox, there is (was)
a complete gcc 2.7.1 package available.

It's marked as crashing under 3.1.x though.

So it is. Sorry 'bout that.

The package is on Nic Leymann's site - evidently he did the porting
himself. His email address is on the site if you're interested in
contacting him to find out why he chose 2.8.1 instead of 2.7.x.

Jagubox already has (had) 2.7.2 so I suppose he was trying to continue
forward from there. Doesn't seem to have been any work lately, not that
I can fault the guy for that.

So nobody knows for sure whether or not gcc 3.1 supports A/UX or not?
