Default Great logo Atlas: Weekly update. 19th March 2006.

The message below is being cross-posted from LogoForum.

A quiet week.

I am in the process of adding a commentary facility to each page- this
has taken time. As too has researching ways to add a xml editor to the
website. Please try out the commentary.

There are two (¿+?) schools of thought for representing data- the Latex
School- and the xml school and whatever decision is made Latex must talk
with xml at some level. When the decision has been made I will try and
represent it.

There has been some talk on other threads of compatibility problems.

I am still searching for urls of online Logo Manuals there is quite a
collection of them

http://ccgi.frindsbury.force9.co.uk/...ual_Repository

Do we know of more?

On the other languages front- I have read good sites in Portuguese,
French and Spanish.
Does anyone know of helpful sites in other languages that might reveal
either new Logos or complete manuals?

Does anyone have anything more on Apple Logo? I have posted all I have
got?

The compiler writers have set up test program and validation suites for
their Logos- should we consider asking to use them to validate other
Logos? If so how?

Clem.

Clem Rutter <Use-Author-Address-Header@[127.1]> writes:

This problem has already been solved; the solution is called texinfo
format. From a texinfo source you can generate TeX, info, HTML (so I
suppose XML). This is why the UCBLogo manual is available in all those
different forms; they are automatically generated from texinfo.
