how to stop db2fm

Hi,

I work on db2 V8 ESE Fixpack1 and i need to install fp2, but i can
because of db2fm which always starts again even if i kill it.
I try to use db2fm command but without any effect.
Can anyone tell me how to kill this process ?

run "~/bin/db2fmcu -d" to remove this process (this exe removes the
fault monitor entry from inittab, and send SIGHUP to inittab daemon and
the db2fmcd daemon causing the daemon to terminate and the inittab to
not try and restart it).

By the way, fixpak installation will stop it automatically.
