Default How to use Lynx to access USENET with Dos or Windows?

Hi,

I downloaded Lynx 2.8.2 from
http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/wlynx/lynx_w32.2.8.2rel.1.zip . It seems to
work properly on Windows in a Dos window for the web, gopher, ftp and so
on, and I can read messages using nntp://hostort/newsgroup. However,
when I try to post a message with
newspost://news.numericable.fr:119/fr.test , after having filled the
required fields, including the message body, I get a "Alert!: 441
article has no body -- just headers"; and something more afterwards I
cannot read (displayed too fast) and finally no message is posted.
Worse, I didn't understand how to handle properly lynx.cfg (and the link
pointing to the explanation about this file is broken all I could find
is
http://lynx.isc.org/lynx2.8.5/lynx2-8-5/lynx_help/lynx_url_support.html
), so any help would be more than welcome.

Also, I wonder if there's another newsreader available for Dos. AFAIK,
Arachne ( http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/ ) doesn't support netnews yet,
but if there's another option, preferably free, I'd pleased to learn about.

TIA.

PS: Crosspost to news:alt.os.free-dos , news:news.software.newsreaders ,
copy and fu2 news:comp.os.msdos.mail-news
