How to use md5 in minix

I need to use md5 in my project, found Claudio Tantignone has included
it in openssl-0.9.6l\crypto\md5. But I am still confused about how to
use it and how to port it into lib separately. Does someone know how to
make it work in minix?

Check into ppp.drv (last is 1.5.3) that I included the md5.c source
from
RFC 1351 (needed for CHAP in PPP authentication).
