iframes

i am makeing a sort of online html editor
i found the code using
frames.myEditor.do***ent.designMode = "On";
i got the whole thing working great on a pc but when i try it on a
mac it tells me that the
frames.myEditor.do***ent
is not an object
does anyone know why?
