Default Intel Dual Gigabit Ethernet driver for LynxOS 3.10a

Hi,

I am trying to install LynxOS 3.10a onto a SBS Technologies VR9 single
board computer (SBC). The VR9 SBC uses the Intel 82546EB dual gigabit
ethernet controller. Does anyone know if there's driver available for
the Intel 82546EB ethernet controller? On Linuxworks webpage, it states
that "if_em" ( x86_drm - don't know what it means ) is the driver for
the Intel Gigabit Ethernet controllers but I don't know where and how
to get it:

http://www.lynuxworks.com/rtos/hardware-driver.php?x86_drm

Thank you in advance!

Isaac

Isaac,

if_em driver is not available for LynxOS 3.1.0a. 3.1.0a is an old
release with an old TCP/IP stack. Apart from that, if_em needs mbuf
clusters of 2KB, but 3.1.0a has them 1KB. That is hard to work around,
so the driver is not available. It is available for LynxOS 4.x.
