I'm not even really sure if this can be solved by using a particular layout
or not.
Here is the scenario...

I have a form that holds several custom controls. I want to provide my
users the ability to add or remove any number of these controls while the app
is running. If I have controls
A
B
C
Arranged like that and B is removed I want C to slide up to where B was.

Do any of you know of a way to facilitate this?

I want to thank any of you who read my post. I believe that I can obtain the
functionality I want by docking each control to the top. If any of you have
any other suggestions that would be better I would still appreciate hearing
them.
