listener port 1583 is not listen

I installed pervasive w/sp4 on a win 2003 Small Business Server and the
server is not listening to port 1583. THe port 3351 works fine. I tried to
change the port to a different port number and it still doesnt listen on
that port.

Under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Pervasive Software search for a
"LockSat" entry. When you find it delete it. Then you will have to
restart the Pervasive relational service.

You can change the listening port. If you do so you will have to set
the new port on all the client machines or they will not be able to
connect.
