Default Migration guide JBuilder 8 -> JBuilder X

Hi,
We are currently using Sybase Enterprise Application Server 5.0 togheter with JBuilder X
(or rather evaluating both)

So the .jpx file and .ejbgrpx files are created in JBuilder 8 with the Sybase Enterprise Application
Server 4.1 as target.

One possible explanation to my migrate problem is the fact the Sybase server plug-in for JB 8 fails
to keep the sybase-easerver-config.xml up to
date. So therefore we used the ejb-inprise.xml information while performing our custom made Ant
deploy.

The information I miss is the jndi-name set for a resource reference. When I look into the .ejbgrpx
file the value is only defined within ejb-inprise.xml.
But this file is not available after the auto migration, wich makes sence since we are not using
BES.

It gets even worse: When I define the jndi-name within JBuilder X (this is done in a special tab
called 'EAServer') this value is never saved.
I have tryed with both a migrated component and a new with the same result.

So I'm little stuck here. The jndi name for my resource (javax.sql.DataSource) is lost when
migrating from 8 to X. But there is no way
to reassign the value again.

I'm not sure if I should try to report this to Borland or Sybase.

mvh

Lars
