You're sure that the server is running ( you sucessfully connected to =

A "net start sequence" without errors does not mean automatically that =
the server is also running.

No, the scripts have nothing to do with it.
You need a properly configured my.ini in %systemroot% (the winnt =
folder).
My.ini defines among other parameters the paths to the mysql-folders.
Consult the manual for further details.
Did you also copy the data-folders?
