NT4 icon versus shortcut.

Running Windows 2000 and 4NT.
I create a shortcut to C:\.....\4NT.EXE.
This shortcut gets the normal 4NT icon.

But when I run this shortcut, it shows up in the taskbar with the old
black and white MS-DOSprompt icon of Windows 2000.

Why? And how do I get the more colorful 4NT icon, instead of the ugly
black and white one?
