Default NTP version

Hello LynxOS users,

as I may have to work on a future project with LynxOS, I am currently
collecting some information. However, the lynuxworks webpage does not
give lots of details on the included tools and libraries.

Could please anyone indicate me what version of NTP LynxOS 4.0 is
supporting, or what ntp client is included?
http://www.lynuxworks.com/rtos/rfcs.php3 gives a reference to an RFC
prior to NTP v3, so is the included client not supporting version3 (RFC
1305) ?
Same question for LynxOS-178.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Dan

It's NTPv3 for LynxOS, using a port of xntpd.

That's odd. I just pulled it up and it clearly shows RFC 1305 in the
supported list. Maybe the list of supported RFCs is so impressively
long you just missed it?

The current release of LynxOS-178 does not support any version of NTP
in production mode.

Working, but not speaking, for LynuxWorks.

Thanks Ed,

you are right, I just made a search on "ntp" (not "Network Time
Protocol") in the list and got only the 958, I didn't notice that the
numbers in front of them actually are the RFC-numbers
