Default Problem linking trivial program in Windows

Hey DeWiley -

I couldn't locate "import32.lib" on my system, so I did a google search
and discovered that it is used by the Borland tool-chain and is suppose
to contain most of the win32 API functions. You should do a "dumpbin
/EXPORTS import32.lib" {if you have the handy 'dumpbin' or similar
utility} to see if it contains ExitProcess. If it doesn't, then you
will want to find a "kernel32.lib" {or create your own from
"kernel32.dll" using one of Pelle's tools} and link against it instead.

Nathan.

Aaah yes of course. I keep forgetting that there is such "animosity" towards
MASM32, being a M$ product and all. It works fine for me. (And hey, maybe
we'll see an official version soon using Pelle's tools... and forego the M$
involvement altogether?)

I didn't mean to imply that at all. I have MASM32 installed, and use it
regularly. In fact, I wrote a couple of the routines in his standard
library.

However, when posting a sample, I have found it most helpful to write code
that assumes as little as possible...
