Hello,

We are using FarPoint Spread 7.0(OLE DB) [FPSpreadADO.fpSpread.5] OCX
Licensed version for our software developed in Clarion 5.5 Enterprise
Edition (Patch 5.5.06). In the development environment, we never got
such error of "LICENSE.DAT is not FOUND". But, in the client
environment (Fresh machines - where FarPoint OCX control was never
registered before), while installing our software, it installs it
without any errors. When, the screen containing the FarPoint is
opened/activated, we get an error "LICENSE.DAT is not found". And the
control is NOT loaded. For your information, the setup of our software
prepared in Wise Installer and it has been configured to auto register
FPSPR70.OCX control.

We need to get rid of this problem. Could you please help us out with
the same. Please do not hesitate to ask for any other specific
Technical Information that you might require to troubleshoot our
problem.

Hi,

I don't use this OCX so I don't know much about it, but why don't you just
include the missing file in your setup program.

All required permissions for install app/ocx ?

You may try this proc. with no omitted parametar list,which
should be register OleFileName(full path FPSPR70.OCX) file
if OLE can't be created.Also the message with numeric error
should be poped.
