I recently resurrected my old Mac Classic II
I got Macminix up and running on it.

I also got a MacPython 1.51 to run (under system 7.1 not Macminix)
In reading through the docs, I came across a section describing compilation of
sources under various *nixes including Minix.

I have Dosminix on my old 486 notebook. I am tempted to try to get python to
tun under minix. I have a version of python to run under os/2 and Win3.1 (32s
and 16 bit).

Questions.
Anyone tried this? Anyone with a working python on Minix 2.+?

Are there incompatibilities between python and minix?

I have never gotten dosread to work in dosminix. Am I better off using minix 2+
as the only OS on my laptop (sans dos?) I did this years ago on an old 8086
worked fine.
