Running My App when Logged Off

Hello
I want to run my app, made in clarion, on windows 2000. The only thing it
does, is writing to a textfile a few lines, as a test. Now i want to have my
app running even when i log off. I tried it as a service and i tried it with
the task scheduler, but with no succes. It simply does write nothing. Has
anybody any idea?
