double dragon

Hi guys.. i am new to java.. i had some basic concepts about java applets
i wanted to ask...and couldnt find anywhere to ask.. so i think someone here
will be able to help me.
First of all wat is the sequence of cal to three basic functions of java
aapplets (init, paint and start). and secondly wats the use of start if
everything can be done using init and start..
