SQL Anywhere 5.xx connect from Linux

Hi.

Is it possible to connect from Linux /java application to SQL Anywhere
5.xx ?
I've read an article:

but it's about windows..

and I have not SQL Anywhere Open Server Gateay.

Is there any other ways ?

I would appreciate any help.
