My palm (TX) no longer plays sound through the speaker. The sound is
working as it will play via headphones. Anyone got any ideas?

Did this happen to quit right after using headphones?

My Zire 71 seemed to have a problem with using headphone. After I used them,
the internal speaker wouldn't work until I got the headphone jack to reseat in
the "no phones" position again. I did this by putting a different miniature
plug in it and taking it out again a few times. It turned out that the
diameter on the plug on headphones I used which caused the problem was just a
bit larger than some others. It seemed to jam the switch in the headphone
socket into the "headphone" position. Jiggling it around again allowed it to
switch back to the "speaker" position.
