Unzip bug?

Sir:

Since recently everytime I use unzip.exe, the one that came from IBM's
NCSD update web page (no longer accessable), I get an error message at
the end of its operations: "segment violation." Is anyone else seeing this?

You should update the zip family immediately!

zip is now on 2.4.x
unzip on 5.5

You'll find the newest zip/unzip on hobbes in GFD (easy for you when
you're a FIDONet member or knows of a OS/2 mailbox or on
http://www.info-zip.org (even as this page is hard to reach).

I assume that's a typo, as 2.3 is still the latest.

has all of them.

I updated to Alex Taylor's port of 5.50 unzip. Problem is solved.
