Default what elkie holland said about me on usenet july 23rd 2001 to end my career

Firstly by posting positive and not negative messages to all the NewsGroups
that this/these messages are going to (comp.databases.pick, comp.databases.
revelation, comp.databases.informix, uk.consultants).

Secondly, as others have said, by disassociating 'work' from 'life'.

Thirdly by looking for jobs at, but not exclusively, the following places:
news:uk.jobs.contract
news:uk.jobs.fortyplus (if appropriate)
news:uk.jobs.offered

They are just the job Newsgroups I'm in.

Regards,

I doubt there is an agency who would touch him !!! We won't be !

Thanks though for the helpful suggestion of taking this squabble
somewhere else. It's ended up in my inbox - how I don't know.

Please rest assured that his "foul mouth" is still in operation
although his vocabulary seems a little limited in colour !

Do you think he has time to do any work ? I feel sorry for the
employer who is currently paying him for "working !"

Kind regards

------------------------------------------------------------------
"Here is a place of disaffection
Time before and time after
In a dim light: neither daylight
Investing form with lucid stillness
Turning shadow into transient beauty
With slow rotation suggesting permanence
Nor darkness to purify the soul
Emptying the sensual with deprivation
Cleansing affection from the temporal.
Neither plenitude nor vacancy. Only a flicker
Over the strained time-ridden faces
Distracted from distraction by distraction
Filled with fancies and empty of meaning
Tumid apathy with no concentration
Men and bits of paper, whirled by the cold wind
That blows before and after time,
Wind in and out of unwholesome lungs
Time before and time after.
Eructation of unhealthy souls
Into the faded air, the torpid
Driven on the wind that sweeps the gloomy hills of London,
Hampstead and Clerkenwell, Campden and Putney,
Highgate, Primrose and Ludgate. Not here
Not here the darkness, in this twittering world.

Descend lower, descend only
Into the world of perpetual solitude,
World not world, but that which is not world,
Internal darkness, deprivation
And destitution of all property,
Desiccation of the world of sense,
Evacuation of the world of fancy,
Inoperancy of the world of spirit;
This is the one way, and the other
Is the same, not in movement
But abstention from movement; while the world moves
In appetency, on its metalled ways
Of time past and time future."

Yeah well thanks for posting this here.

I sure as **** won't be using your agency ever.

If I ever get the chance to recruit people and your agency shows
up...I'll deck whoever you send...

Moron,

David.

The agency's perfectly sound and reputable alright. I've used them as
have many, many people I know in the industry. They have gone way out
of their way to help promote our/their niche market in the past and
have earnt a lot of respect as a result. It's just this Dan Fisher guy
- he's so far into self-destruction... It would be sad if, well, if it
wasn't so damned annoying.

Mike.

It seems to me that by keeping this post alive, it is only perpetuating
the cycle... If you let it die and move on to something more
productive, it would make this a learning experience.

By continuing to post, the terms "obsessive", "vindictive", "vengeful",
"stalker", and "restraining order" all come to mind as possible reasons
for dismissal and not considering the person in question as a reliable
employee you want working for you.

Besides, there are so many people out there who lost jobs due to
downsizing that you are probably not blacklisted, it's just that there
are better people to pick from who are less volatile.

In other words, I would focus on anger management and getting and
keeping a job, even if it is only volunteer work at a school or charity
to start with.

Feel free to flame away. It will only prove my point... ;-)

(tronic5572@yahoo.co.uk) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were
saying :

They don't hold all the jobs which pay better than Tesco.

GET OVER IT! MOVE ON! FFS... What the hell would you be like if ever you
were faced with a *serious* issue?

So the solution is to spew random idiocy onto Usenet? It might be
smarter to show us a little of your vaunted brilliance. Maybe convince
us that you're /not/ a complete loon. Then perhaps somebody might find a
job for you.

OK, I'll bite
What did you do to upset them? I've used more than a dozen agencies.
One of them "tried it on" with iffy contracts, which I refused to sign
and they modified them EXACTLY as per my request; One of them was a
really lousey payer (some payments being 6+ months late) due to
clerical errors. I would have made a big deal of it, but, due to more
clerical errors their end, they accidentally over paid me about 6K

By and large, I'm in favour of agencies. I make more money for less
effort with them than without them. Show them the respect that you'd
hope they should show you (and, mostly, do) and you are unlikely to
have any problems.

So, tell us, why have the agencies blacklisted you? What did you do to
upset them?
