(tronic5572@yahoo.co.uk) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were
saying :

Work != Life.

No, they hold *some* of the jobs.

It seems to me that by keeping this post alive, it is only perpetuating
the cycle... If you let it die and move on to something more
productive, it would make this a learning experience.

By continuing to post, the terms "obsessive", "vindictive", "vengeful",
"stalker", and "restraining order" all come to mind as possible reasons
for dismissal and not considering the person in question as a reliable
employee you want working for you.

Besides, there are so many people out there who lost jobs due to
downsizing that you are probably not blacklisted, it's just that there
are better people to pick from who are less volatile.

In other words, I would focus on anger management and getting and
keeping a job, even if it is only volunteer work at a school or charity
to start with.

Feel free to flame away. It will only prove my point... ;-)

They don't hold all the jobs which pay better than Tesco.

GET OVER IT! MOVE ON! FFS... What the hell would you be like if ever you
were faced with a *serious* issue?

So the solution is to spew random idiocy onto Usenet? It might be
smarter to show us a little of your vaunted brilliance. Maybe convince
us that you're /not/ a complete loon. Then perhaps somebody might find a
job for you.

OK, I'll bite
What did you do to upset them? I've used more than a dozen agencies.
One of them "tried it on" with iffy contracts, which I refused to sign
and they modified them EXACTLY as per my request; One of them was a
really lousey payer (some payments being 6+ months late) due to
clerical errors. I would have made a big deal of it, but, due to more
clerical errors their end, they accidentally over paid me about £6K

By and large, I'm in favour of agencies. I make more money for less
effort with them than without them. Show them the respect that you'd
hope they should show you (and, mostly, do) and you are unlikely to
have any problems.

So, tell us, why have the agencies blacklisted you? What did you do to
upset them?

Based upon his postings here I wouldn't touch him - very immature and
unstable.

AFAIK, agents don't use blacklists, as it doesn't serve their purposes,
i.e. would require cooperation between them, which doesn't happen. This
is an urban myth that has been around forever.

Indivigual agencies may "blacklist" you, but there are so many out
there that even if you had annoyed 50 to the point of being
blacklisted, there'd still be loads to chose from.

If you honestly believe you are blacklisted, by all agents in the
country, then just change your name and email, etc. They'll never know,
or even check. If you are employable, they will get you a job. They
live on margin, they really don't care about anything apart from that.
Nor should they.

Of course, if you are unemployable because of your hostile attitude, or
your skills are not in demand any more, then blaming this situation on
some convenient person from your past is probably easier than facing up
to your own shortcomings.
