Default Which Copy of an Application

Hi folks,

I'm trying to write an applescript to launch the application "FileMaker

Pro". Unfortunately, at the moment the machines I'm writing it for all

have multiple copies of filemaker pro on them (versions 6 and 7). So,
is there a way to tell applescript WHICH copy of filemaker to use when
I Tell Application "FileMaker Pro"...end Tell?

Each copy is in the Applications directory (Macintosh
HD:Applications:FileMaker Pro 6:FileMaker
Pro and Macintosh HD:Applications::FileMaker pro 7:FIleMaker Pro)

I tried using the entire path to the app I want to reference, but
applescript just hangs for a while then times out.

Thanks,

Jeff

The easiest way is to rename the applications; call one "FileMaker Pro
6" and the other "FileMaker Pro 7"; then write the script to use the one
you want.
