Default REXX handling pipes/queues

Hello all,

is there anybody who knows how to create and use multiple pipes in a REXX procedure? I know how to use QUEUEs but this
is always only one pipe at a time that can be accessed. Switching queues with RXQUEUE("SET", ...) is also not very
helpfull because I want to pipe messages from different threads of one process into more than one pipe in different threads.

In addition it would be interesting what the names (\PIPE\) of the pipes are that REXX creates.

Thanx and best regards
Uwe

Uwe,

there are some DLLs for using pipes in REXX. You may take a look at REXX
Tips & Tricks (search for rxtt on hobbes.nmsu.edu).

Yes, indeed that would be interesting (if these kind of pipes are
created by REXX at all)

regards

Bernd

The RXU package provides access to named pipes.
