The Database Application Developer’s Guide included in the JBuilder help
will give you the information you need.
“Tools | Configure | Libraries…” to configure the library for the JDBC
“Enterprise | Enterprise Setup | Database Drivers” to inform JBuilder that
the library is a JDBC library.

Thank you for your posting. I followed the steps:
– Create a library file (postgres.jar).
– Derived the .config file as indicated.
– Add the new library to the project.
But I can’t find the way to set the connection property of the database
component to the postgres database because in the database Connection’s
dialog Drivers list I get only these:
What am I doing wrong ?

One more step. Open up Database Pilot. Select View | Options. Select
the Drivers tab. You need to add your new driver here. Make sure that
your sample URL does NOT include the “jdbc:” at the beginning, because
that will get added automatically.
