Default DAO or JRO that is the question

Why would someone use a non-native library for manipulating Jet data
when you have native libraries available to you?

Most experienced Access developers know perfectly well that the ADO
push in Access 4 for Jet-only development was a stupid marketing
mistake (and it's why later versions of Access aren't as ADO-stupid
in their default references), and a lot of us lost a lot of respect
for Microsoft with that move.

Likewise, Microsoft's replication documentation has always included
sections that include more wishful thinking than practical
experience. JRO is just another example of that, where people who
really don't understand the product (Jet/Access) are trying to
shoehorn it into a corporate agenda that doesn't really help
Jet/Access users.
